Guide to Tateyama and the Boso Peninsula | Tokyo Day Trips | GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP

Tateyama (館山) is the largest city in the southern half of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture, about 100 kilometers southeast of Tokyo. Located near the peninsula’s southern tip, the city has a resort atmosphere, offers a few sites of interest on its own and is a good base to explore the surrounding attractions, like flower parks and strawberry farms.

The team consisting of Marvin, Daisuke and Daichi decided to head out to see the southern end of Tateyama that lines the pacific coast during sunset especially to get the views of the three best places to see including a cave, and island and a few sculptures to see!

This is an awesome day trip away from Tokyo and is easily accessible by train or from Narita Airport. Consider this place when you are wanting to explore deep Tokyo without the tourists.
