  1. Ok then I still have time, I’m planning to visit in September. Love from LA✌🏾

  2. I landed at Haneda last Thursday. The Visit Japan Web process is so quick and easy, I reckon other countries should implement something similar.

After six days going all around Kyushu and up to Miyajima, I've found most Japanese people are still wearing masks and a good portion of foreigners are as well, even in outdoor settings where people are a safe distance apart.

In the six days I've been in Kyushu, the Sakura have still largely been at peak, Hakata Castle Park last Friday was absolutely stunning and extremely busy. There were plenty of Sakura everywhere I went – Beppu, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Sasebo, and Miyajima. Most were only just in the very early stages of shedding. I imagine it will be a different story when I head to Kobe today.

I'm looking forward to your Kyoto video. I'm headed there from Monday, so hopefully I'll get the recommendations in time to see some of them. Great job!

  3. Just got home from Japan yesterday, spent 20 wonderful day there. I really wish I could have stayed another 20 days there but will have to wait until next year.
I did everything she's saying in this video and it went fast and smoothly through customs and the airport.

  4. I was in Japan about a month ago, just as the sakura season was starting. Kyoto was already overun by tourists…

  5. That new shinjuku bus you mentioned. Thats from narita? 35mins? Whats the name of bus. I will use it but that Doesnt sound right. Thx for videos.

  6. One great update with Visit Japan web is you can now register for a tax free QR code to be used during purchases. No more needing to carry your passport!

  7. Any tips for Golden Week?

I’ll be going from May 1 to 6

It’s not my first time in Japan, I lived there for 2 years 😊

But I’m curious about whether anything is different in regards to Golden Week.

  8. Thank you for this, I’m gonna be arriving in Japan on the 24th and I’m gonna be driving from Tokyo to Ube and Kochi.

  9. Thanks for the info! We'll be in japan from may 31st to june 21st and we'll most likely be doing tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, Izumo and Takayama. So a little bit of running around. A 2nd trip will definitely be necessary in the future to see even more

  10. Hello, first of all I want to thank you for the awesome content. You are so cool and helpful. I am arriving to Tokyo on Sunday morning. Quick question, I bought the JRPass, so how do I get my passport stamp if I use all the QR codes? Thanks

  11. Hello Lisa, happy to watching your channel.
Lisa, my family will go to japan on 20 april 2023 vaccine must 3 doses or 2 doses is okey?

  12. It’s still April but just a heads up for people who are visiting Japan starting in May and are also thinking of registering and submitting their required info on Visit Japan Web for their upcoming trips. After May 8, vaccination certificates and PCR tests are no longer required:

Per the official border control page, travelers entering the country on or after May 8, 2023 will no longer be required to present a vaccine certificate or negative PCR test.

Those who are entering Japan on or after May 8, 2023, will not be required to present a valid vaccination certificate or pre-departure inspection certificate, as the category of COVID-19 will be changed to a Class V Infectious Disease under the Infectious Disease Control Law. However, please note that quarantine measures upon entry into Japan may be strengthened as necessary, if a new infectious disease outbreak occurs overseas.

  13. I will be visiting in two weeks and I can't wait! I am all set with the Visit Japan Web site so hope it is smooth entering the country. I will probably only use my mask when using public transport.

  14. Thank you. I was able to go through the Japanese citizen lineup in the airport as a non citizen as I was with my wife who is a citizen still. You don’t need to wait in the longer visitor lineup to go through customs.

  15. Great information. @HarpistinJapan What information do you have if you have a layover in Tokoyo airport and your last destination is Thailand? What steps do you need to be taken at the Tokoyo airport?
