Do you have any information on this Princess ProMotion Cruise Credit Program?
They seem to be offering FCC’s ,hotel deals and on board credit as part of a package when you purchase a cruise.

THE ONLY SMART WAY TO BOOK SHORE EXCURSIONS!
Only book through the cruiseline. Your travel insurance will only cover you then, should you need a doctor or hospital, and should you be late back to the ship…hope you brought your passports!
However reliable the third party company, if where you're going is some distance from where your ship is.docked, I think it's better to book with the cruise line.

My favorite shore excursion was the Damajagua Waterfall and Zipline in Dominican Republic. So much fun!! We booked that through the cruise line (NCL).
We booked with the cruise but these tips will help us next time
My best was this last, New Years eve walking food tour in Istanbul, Turkey. Tour guide was very good at keeping the group together, as the group was mixed ages and abilities. We were both in Europe and Asia. He also was able to go places that the people could eat and still keeping with the local customs.Booked on boardat last minute as still had on board cruise credits to spend. We did not need to worry about getting back to ship as we spent the night in port. Guide also pointed out places to visit on our own the next day.
Omg the fb group! I had no idea. I just joined one for my summer cruise and there wasn't one for my cruise next month so I started a group! Thanks for the tip!
Chartered a private boat to snorkel in Roatan. It was amazing.
