Ah, I love this coach!
Swiss perfection
I would like to express my gratitude to Simply Railway for bringing to light, European trains that we never thought existed.
Hello from Brasil
What is it about you people have you never heard of a mike. Or don.t you believe in inclusion?
nice train and view
Good! 🙂👍🚄
The scenary does not look lush green. In which month did you shoot this video?
I really wish that Stadler was more of a name here in the states because of MTS in San Diego went with them over Siemens ohhhh man we would probably have a much nicer looking train on that network. Siemens are nice don’t get me wrong but the stadlers look incredible
Wow so much in such a short time. Did you take a breath in that?
Those sport shorts are a NoGo in the 1st class
8:46 Sorry to say that, but that‘s not true. You‘re crossing the Rhine river, yes, but that‘s not the border at this point. Also while crossing the bridge you‘re showing the Roche-Towers, which are the two highest swiss buildings, logically located in Switzerland…
was the 100 fare shown for 1st class which your in?
So Americans, this is what Germany was doing with their money instead of spending it on defense so that they could rely on the US to defend them.
Have you ever tried Hamburg – Vienna?
कितनी smouth train ha
Which app are you using to see the rail lines with max speed? Could you please share the Appstore link?
Very beautiful video. My family and I traveled through Germany by rail in 1998. The trains were so punctual in those days that one could adjust times on their watches based on train arrival and departure times. German train journey is one of the best in the world, and seeing Rhine River brought back wonderful memories of 2 weeks of travel by train. Of course, the USA has a long way to go to make a train journey more enjoyable. Two weeks on Amtrak in 2015 was OK .
These wagons you asked for can be parts of the TEE trains. When the IC’s came up, these wagons were the first class. They all have these windows “steamed” with gold for sun protecting ( and broadcast protecting too😉)
18.07 The coaches are probably from the DB-Museum Koblenz. It´s a remote site of the main Museum in Nürnberg.
The windows are awesome. Great video as always.
Damn! I figured out when you showed the map of your trip that you were going to go through Mannheim and Lampertheim. I lived in a satellite village of Lampertheim called Lampertheim-Rosengarten and went through Lampertheim alot as a kid, so I was really hoping to see Lampertheim as you passed. It's too bad that you didn't get footage of it, but it's still very nice to see Germany from your perspective.
I watch your videos, vicariously, to remember Germany again and almost as motivation. Thank you so much for what you do, Simply Railway.
I have always felt trains should have cab/rear cameras and while i know there may be many that would agree i also think each car should have a camera(s) on each side so when you are looking out one side you can have your device looking out the other side threw a camera. The views are so stunning on a rip like this that looking out one side means you're missing something you'd want to see out the other side….. It would also be cool to have access to railside cameras so you can see your train pass, and being some may be farther away you could get some scenic views..
Very few passengers?
16:32.many trains take this route intercity / eurocity every hour and as well plenty of regional trains from mainz to cologne several times per hour
What app are you using at 12:01? I was googling "Railmap" but couldn't find something that looks similar.
👏 Nice travel report !
About the Rhine river: Towards Germany it's a border water – roughly between the two Schaffhausen(Schaffhausen-Switzerland and Schaffhouse-près-Seltz) … more precisely between Constance and Lauterbourg. Thanks to the Rhine the ancient Council town of Constance was spared in WWII – in contrast to Schaffhausen … Also Kleinbasel was not spared by the Allied Forces.
Kleinbasel hosts some of the tallest manmade structures of Switzerland – St-Chrischona(tallest tower) and Bau2(tallest building). Many places left of the Rhine waters have a strong roman/catholic tradition(Cologne, Mainz, Koblenz for example).
The Panorama coach is – as mentioned in numerous comments – also available on the Transalpin train. Not less scenic is the classic Gotthard route – though just available during the summer season.
Ahhhh, the memories. Thank you for the wonderful journey through my homeland. I miss it and will never see my birth country again. So, it's nice to go along the journey once more even if it is only by video.
From India, just wondering how are these trains viable with so few passengers. It is virtually running empty.
From London 👍👍❤️
Why is everyone still wearing masks 😂
