What did you think about Raku? Would you do the tasting menu?
I have not tried the tasting menu because I generally know what to order. Glad you guys tried it though. Raku is my absolute go to restaurant when I am in Las Vegas since it was opened. There have been a few times where I went straight to Raku from the airport after landing. I like to sit at the bar and ordered the specials but everything on the Raku menu is very good.

I love Japanese food and regularly go to fine Japanese restaurant. For $150pp, the menu is not impressive and could use higher quality of ingredients and the cooking can be more intricate. Definitely not on my list either. Thanks for the review!
Japanese cuisine is all about clean simple flavors letting the actual quality of product shine without masking or overpowering it with other flavors. I think the more you experience it the more you come to appreciate and enjoy it. Also their are much better Japanese restaurants in Vegas in my opinion 😉.

Shut up!! I live about 2 minutes away from there. Never tried it but the noodle place to the right of it is my favorite ramen place. I can't believe Josh took all those mushrooms in one bite. Some stuff looked really good and others I was a bit cringe on them. LOL…Great video as usual.
I recommend Sul and Bean on Shanghai Plaza for Korean Shaved Ice dessert.
For all the great cheap eats in China Town no need to spend $150 per person on pretentious eating. Casinos can charge that much cause you can use Comps. I'd go to 8oz Korean BBQ 🙂

Great vivideo guys. Not just one mushroom…..a mushroom with more mushrooms on it. I think NOBU would be my #1. Wakuda is a close #2. As far as the best omakase seatings go.
😊! Thumbs up for powering through the mushrooms! If you need good, cheap filling food Big Wongs is in the same shopping center. If you just won some money in the casino and want some high end sushi , Kabuto is several doors down but very expensive.
I often watch your food videos while eating my bland meal and just pretend. Tonight I would choose my baked chicken. Ha Ha

Here's my comments from the "cheap seats" since I'd never pay that much for a meal… especially one where heading to the closest KFC after would be required. But I so enjoy watching your vlogs & living vicariously through you! Really appreciate your blunt, honest bite by bite reviews. However, just as Josh has his mushrooms & Rachel has her whipped cream, I have a real distaste for vloggers doing product commercials during the vlog. I know they have advantages for you, but I feel it's kinda sneaky to insert them. Do it before or at the end of you must, just not during. My rant is now over. Please keep smiling, traveling and eating!!😊

Hmm I don’t think this one would be for me. I don’t see all the hype, but that’s just me. I’m not a tofu fan at all even though I’ve tried it several different ways and several times. Like Josh, it’s a texture thing.

I appreciate how you can say a meal is good, but still not to your liking/taste. I’ve eaten meals where I certainly recognize the quality, it just wasn’t something I particularly liked, and it made me not want to return to the restaurant, probably unfairly. Theres nothing wrong with saying it was good, just not to your liking.
