    Hello, I'm your Airbnb host, and I just wanted to clarify something.

    – "The building's name is SMDC Air Residences.
    I only owned one unit in this building, they are unrelated to my Airbnb business ( Homey Moon ) and I am also unrelated to the SMDC company.

    I believe the guard on duty at the time was new.

    A passport is only required for verification.

    – For the safety of both residents and guests, upon check-in, guests should leave any type of identification card with the guard in the lobby.

    This will be kept during your stay and returned to you once you have moved out.

    " Any type of valid identification, whether local or foreign.

    -During check-in
    My co-host arrived, spoke with the guard, and was also confused about why? according to them, you don't want to leave any ID. (which is required)
    She went to the admin and complained about your experience, and they made it clear that any type of valid ID is acceptable.
    Not a passport, as a guard stated.

    However, because you don't want to leave any ID, she had to leave her ID for your whole stay.

    -There is no policy requiring them to keep a foreigner's passport.

    I was also unaware that they had already taken your passport and placed it in its drawer. 🤦‍♀

    I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. 🙏
    I assure you that I will let the admin knows about what you experienced.

    I stay in the same room for 3x , maganda yung unit and very accommodating dating si host and co host, the unit is nice and clean, ung guard sa condo mukhang may problem ksi usually valid id lng need i present
