Hey everyone, it’s Matt from Still as Life, and I’m super excited to share this amazing place with you! In all honesty, it is my absolute favourite place in Sapporo on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido.

We went here in mid-August, right at the start of Spring and as I saw the building, entered the park and began to explore the wacky world within, it struck me. If Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were real, this is the closest experience to it that I’ve ever encountered. Everything here is fun. It has been designed to entertain, educate, inspire, and bring out the inner child in everyone.

This place is where I had my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory experience of complete awe and wonder. Have you ever had that experience? If so, where? Let me know down in the comments below!

The first 4 minutes of music is from the Adobe Clip collection, and the last 40 seconds or so is the music playing in Shiroi Koibito Park during the robotic show!
