We headed to #Aomori to take part in the last two days of the #Nebuta Festival, one of the most famous summer festivals in #Japan. Nebuta has been on hiatus for the last two years due to COVID so this was the first year it was back and the atmosphere was electric. We were lucky enough to win the lottery meaning we could participate in the parade on Friday and we watched it on Saturday. Sunday we saw the big fireworks display and watched the Nebuta floats that won prizes float around Aomori Bay. It was a wonderful event and I can’t wait for next year!
