■Description
Aarashiyama is the western stretch of Kyoto. It takes about 30 mins of train ride from Kyoto station. At the base of Arashiyama Mountains, around the Katsura River, the area contains significant sightseeing destinations, on top of the renowned temples and shrines. In this video, you will travel through the garden of Tenryu-ji Temple, an Unesco World Heritage Site and the world famous bamboo path. Then, you will ride exciting Hozugawa River Cruise which departures from Kameoka, the other side of the mountains. You will cross the Togetsu-kyo Bridge, an icon of the region to finish at the mountain top Arashiyama Monkey Park!
