This time, I enjoyed a one-day trip alone from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen “Asama” train stopped at every station, and although it took a long time, I was able to enjoy the scenery from the train window at a leisurely pace.
I traveled on JR East Japan’s “Somewhere to View” project, a ticket where you do not know where your destination will be until you apply for the ticket.
The ticket was for a destination at one of four stations (Oishida, Ninohe, Niigata, and Nagano), and as a result of a lottery, I ended up at Nagano Station.
It was fun and adventurous not knowing where the destination would be. It was a new and exciting experience for me, as it was a destination that I would not normally have chosen.

By the way, the train design of the Hokuriku Shinkansen is excellent and was done by Kiyoyuki Okuyama, who worked on the Ferrari Enzo.
