This was from our second night’s dinner at Fufu Kawaguchiko (ふふ 河口湖), which is located in the Fuji Five Lakes area in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi (山梨県富士河口湖.) The explanations of the dishes were in Japanese, so I’ve done my best to localize the food descriptions to English (to the best of my ability.) They are:

DISH 1:
Fujinosuke (富士の介) & Kinoko (木ノ子 – Fungus) with Jelly
Ichijiku (無花果 – Fig)
Hotate (ホタテのおかき揚げ – Deep Fried Scallop)

DISH 2:
Kabu No Usukuzu Shitate (蕪のうす葛仕立て – Japanese Turnip)

DISH 3:
Ohitashi (Cold Spinach in Dashi) with Shira Ae (白和え – Mashed Tofu)
Kuri Senbei (Chestnut chips), Matsutake Panko Yaki, etc.
** Didn’t really understand what Soyun said

DISH 4 – Nigiri Sushi:
Hon Maguro (本鮪 – Bluefin Tuna)
Aori Ika (アオリイカ – Bigfin reef squid)
Kuruma Ebi (車海老 – Japanese Tiger Prawn)
Fujinosuke (富士の介): King Salmon & Rainbow Trout (虹鱒 – Nijimasu)-bred species

DISH 5:
For her: Chidori Chicken No Komiyaki (千鳥の香味焼き)
For him: Fuji Sakura Pork No Komiyaki (富士桜ポークの香味焼き)

DISH 6:
Sumi Udon (炭うどん – Udon made of Charcoal)

DISH 7:
Keita: Yamanashi Gyu No Wara Yaki (山梨牛の藁焼き – Yamanashi Beef Cooked on Straws)
Kazusa: Ise Ebi (いせえび – Lobster) with Horenso (ほうれん草 – Spinach)

DISH 8:
Kuri & Mukago Gohan with Misoshiru & Tsukemono (栗と零余子、味噌汁、漬物 – Chestnut & Japanese Yam Shoots Rice with Miso Soup & Tsukemono)

DISH 9 – Dessert:
Milk Yose (ミルク寄せ – Curdled Milk)、 Kaki (柿 – Persimmon) Momo Ice Cream (桃アイス – Peach Ice Cream) Lemon Gelee (レモンジュレ – Lemon Jelly) & Apricot Sauce
