We had Japanese breakfast served in our Kitadake Suite room (北岳) at Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan (西山温泉 慶雲館), a ryokan based in Hayakawa-cho, Yamanashi Prefecture (山梨県早川町) that is recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the world’s oldest continually-operating hotel/inn. It was established in 705 A.D., and has been run by the same family for over 52 generations.
