★Dialogue★
D: We’ve had a fun, but very long winter vacation, right? And we spent most of it at home.
Today was my first day back at work this year, but I had a tough time getting back into the rhythm of things.
M: Really? You must be tired from work today then.
D: I’m ok. I know I’ll be fine next week.
M: I hope so.

D: During the break, we had ozoni every day. It’s a soup, which is one of my favorite traditional Japanese New Year’s dishes.
M: Ya, I love the rice cake that’s in ozoni, so I ate a lot of it.
D: We always put a lot of vegetables in it, too, so I think it’s healthy for you.
M: Ya, but I’m sure I gained weight during this New Year holiday, so I worked out today.
D: Oh, that’s right. You said last time that you had a friend who was a personal trainer. You went to her gym today, did you?
M: Uh huh. It was fun, but exhausting at the same time.
D: Was it hard?
M: For me, yes. Because I don’t usually work out.
D: That’s true.
M: I have sore muscles.

M: Wow, that’s exactly what Atsuko told me. You’re so knowledgeable.
D: Thanks. I liked my anatomy and physiology classes.

M: Next, she taught me how to train my major muscles in my back.
It’s called a Lat Pulldown.
