I was more the excited to finally fly on a refurbed BA 777 plane, it was more than a long awaited refurb. I could not imagine myself taking a 11 hour flight on BA’s old style plane that would of been so disheartening.
I enjoyed the flight, the IFE was top notch and never needed to use my Ipad for movies etc.

Im going back to Mauritius next April, flying the direct route from Gatwick on the 777 this time rather than Emirates red eye flight via Dubai on thr A380 so have a feeling I'll be on the same plane as you, this is how i found your video searching for the BA 777. One question, was there anywhere to charge a laptop ie mains power supply?

What was the flight date? Surely not in 2021 as I can't find anybody wearing a mask, neither at the airport in Gatwick nor on arrival at Mauritius airport, nor at the hotels. So the video must have been taken pre-pandemic era.
