Kennin-ji – is one of the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto, notable for its large wooden hall and a number of important cultural properties, including many beautiful and important examples of calligraphy and paintings.
Daigo-ji – this is a Shingon Buddhist temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest temple in Kyoto. It is known for its beautiful cherry blossoms, autumn foliage and charming temple architecture.
