Asaba Ryokan is located in Izu, Shuzenji, and has a 500 year history. I stayed 1 night, but this was definitely the highlight of my trip to Japan. This is one of the best Onsen in Japan

Your videos have helped me introduce my family to foreign flavours!!
We are from South Africa, obit even having KBBQ would be seen as different or strange😢
Your reviews on the different foods and ingredients has helped expand my family’s food culture
Xing Chen doesn't stay put in one place for long…still running from China 🤔
Great food trip
Mike, I keep not seeing your videos on my feed! I have to go to your channel 🙁 I know YT changed their algorithms but it's frustrating me because I watch you all the time! It should show up!
For the first time i think ever i wish i was a famous food critic. Lolo what an expirience. Love your chanel!! God bless
COOK YOURE MEAT people. 1. Uncooked meat can have parasites. 2. Most of the flavor in meat comes from cooking it. Raw meat is nothing but a slight sweetness and soft texture.
Things and then there is things in japan lol
Mmm this fish is snappy. This eel is snappy. This chicken is snappy. This pudding is snappy.
No freaking way Mike I just was there…. Just got back home from Japan two nights ago and stayed in the same hotel during Christmas!
Hey Mike! Wanna have some food tour in Bacolod Philippines? Must try the world's famous Chicken inasal. I'll be your guide here 😁
You’re so lucky to have experienced that.
Word of the day: ‘Snappy’….I love when you learn new words! Drink!
whats the name of the ryokan?
7:40
"It has such a Deliciously Milky Consistency"
Well….Mike it's basically Cod Cum
Looks like this hotel is very picky about their pottery plate selection for table as well as their food.😄👍
I recognized Japanese traditional style potteries such as Arita, Kutani, shino, oribe and kyoyaki … so on. Especially I loved the nezumi-shino plate used for the grilled mackerel and the cooking pot for rice (I think its maby bankoyaki) was also nice. I am not good at wood lacquer work but soup bowls might be the Wajima nuri, well known traditional lacquer work.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Mikey
Just wanted to say thanks for your videos, especially your Seoul videos as they've helped make my trip there fenomenal. I'm currently eating cuttlefish in the cuttlefish alley BC of your recommendation.
ココの旅館の料理は、すごい豪華な料理だな。1泊5万円以上しそう。そんなに安くないって?w
Looks sensational and delicious but is it really filling?
