I take a look around the biggest convenience store chains in Japan: Lawson, 7-Eleven and Family Mart, with a quick look in my local Daily Yamazaki.
Convenience stores are an important part of the fabric of daily life in Japan – you can get almost anything you need there. From food and drink, magazines and manga, cleaning equipment to tights and more, it’s all there!
So let’s take a look around 4 different stores and see what all the fuss is about!
Please check out my other videos where I try some convenience store food too – the nice stuff and the weird stuff!

Bit late but I enjoyed the video, I love looking at different supermarkets/ shops
Oh I thought of a question: as you have a small apartment not a big freezer etc like you said you don’t buy frozen things, what do you usually buy / make in a typical day /week? Do you tend to get a lot of ready made things? Is it cheaper ? Or is it easier and cheaper to cook at home
