  1. Me: "Please be a Tom hotel room review Please be a Tom hotel room review Please be a Tom hotel room review Please be a Tom hotel room review YAY TOM"

  2. 62….by choice?! Why not vacation in a meat locker!!! I'm shivering in flannel, blankets and I've broken down and turned on a space heater trying to keep it at 65 (and sometimes needing to go above that). Oh how I loathe being cold!!! Love the room otherwise lol

  3. Tom this is Awesome! Thank you so much for the wonderful Standard tour and all the info and chuckles along the way;)

  4. at this point tom, you should just carry a candle to put on your window to tell japan you're home

  5. Dang, when they say "Superior Park View" they ain't kidding! That is one spectacular view. It's really cool that it's located in such a way that you can see landmarks from both parks. I don't think I'd be able to sleep in that room, since I would never be able to bring myself to stop looking out the window at night!

  6. Look at that amazing exterior in the opening shot. Now look at concept art for whatever's going in next to the Poly. Damn right I'm mad.

  7. Why are the top rooms in Disney World not like this? This is beautiful. What about those amenities, why aren’t they offered over here in the states?

  8. I absolutely love the theming, decorations, and colors of that room as well as that amazing view! I think the only thing i'd ding them on is the TV. Nothing says "dated" to me more than what kind of TV they use in the hotel. I get it, it fits perfect in that themed cabinet but if there was a way to keep that in a different area still but have a modern TV then it would be perfect! This is also with myself just coming from a club level suite at the Contemporary at WDW this September.

  9. Thank you for the video! We stayed here in late November. 3 nights in an alcove room, with a perfect view of the fireworks. To be honest, I felt the value was a bit low (60,000 JPY/night), but I guess if you are converting USD to yen, it's not too bad right now. I live in Japan and really wanted to visit Walt Disney World in Orlando, but I settled for Tokyo Disneyland. It was more crowded than I had expected, despite picking weekdays that were forecasted to be the least crowded in November. We managed to have a good time at Disneyland, but we gave up the next day after just a few rides at Disney Sea and went back to the hotel because my mother and children were overwhelmed by the number of people. I was quite disappointed. Now I am considering a WDW trip next August, but flying my family from Japan to Orlando would cost a fortune… Would a WDW trip even be worth it, or should we just stick to TDR? Do you think WDW is better than TDR, or vice versa?
