This story is one of the most important stories in Okinawa’s history. Not only is it the story for how Okinawa became apart from Japan, but it’s also the story of the Ryukyu Kingdom crest, as well as how as why Karate started. I’m not even sure if it’s true, but it’s an excellent story.
