This is my travel vlog about my recent trip to Japan this year. The main highlight of which is hiking the highest and majestic mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji, which stands at 3,776 meters above sea level. After having arrived in Japan, I immediately booked a seat reservation to one of its Michelin-star ramen shops, Tsuta, and delight in their famous, Shoyu Ramen. Then, I went on an Izakaya food trip with my friend Bryan and had my first Tsukemen, which was very delicious and must try. The next day, we set our eyes on the second Michelin-star ramen shops, Nakiryu, and their signature menu is Tantan-men noodles. It’s a spicy sesame soup ramen bowl with fried grain meat flavored with miso.

After which, went on a sightseeing tour of Tokyo Tower, the Hachiko statue in Shibuya, the Hachiko and Dr. Ueno statue in Tokyo University, Kaiten Sushi and Shibuya Crossing.

The next day, I rejoined my TrailAdventours group for a dayhike to Mount Takao, a 600 MASL mountain near Takaosanguchi station.

Then the following day, we set on for the 5th station of Mt. Fuji and the start of our hike to Japan’s most sacred and highest mountain at 12:30pm. It was a very beautiful and fun hike together with the group. We had our trerkking poles stamped at each station. We took pictures and videos along the way. And we enjoyed the beautiful view of the scenery everytime we stopped along the way.

We reached our lodge, the Gansomoru hut, at around 8:30pm for our late dinner and sleep before we wake up at 2am for our early morning assault to the summit.

At 2:30 am, we started to hike to the top of the summit of Mt. Fuji. At around 5:00 am, we saw the sun rise over the horizon and the sea of clouds. It was a very wonderful feeling and such a majesty to behold. As a mountain climber, I would recommend to anyone to climb Mt. Fuji at least once in your lifetime.

Cheers and enjoy the video!
