I got a chance to meet up with good friend Michelle and we explored the mean streets of Manila (so to speak) and spent an enjoyable day touring, shopping and eating. Our first stop was in Tokyo town where we found this hidden Japanese restaurant. Service and food was exceptional and the surprise of the day? The wonderful mackerel sashimi! Absolutely a must try… Then we were off to do more walking and exploring.

Really good to work up an appetite as later that evening, there was a trip planned to the Solaire Resort and Casino for their unlimited lobster and seafood buffet! With over 25 lobster dishes on the menu along with the endless buffet, we were in for a treat! Lobster Tempura? or Lobster Kare Kare? How about a Lobster chowder, or a baked cheesy lobster? We can give those all a try and try I did 🙂

Amazing hospitality and endless seafood and meats; it was truly one of the best buffets I’ve been to.

    Thats not true 😂galing kami dyan sayang un bayad . Kulang food sa mga late hour. At walng lobster ang buffet konte food. Kesa dyan maas ok dagdagan nyo konte un price mag okada buffet or sa sofitel spiral buffet super bait ng mga nagserv magsasawa kayo sa ibibigay nila. Ultimo wine talagang wantusawa masarap talaga food fresh lahat. Dyan bitin food

    Perhaps Mr. Tim Lee doesn't realize it, but in all buffet restaurants here in the Philippines, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FINISH EVERYTHING; NO LEFTOVERS.

    Leaving food uneaten 1.) is bad manners here; 2.) you'll be required to pay a leftover fee that's basically about half the price of the original buffet price.
