Day three & four of the cycling adventure to Fuji’s base-side lakes didn’t really work out well in the weather department. Good news to come, however….

  1. Cool people. Always found Japanese culture/history interesting. Watching y'all navigate it and enjoy it is fun. To be fair im watching your Egypt videos.

  2. 30:00 Whenever I need to come up with a word for something -"make your own language, stop trying to be meat, make your own word for it" – I always default to shmibble.

  3. woah since it's Mt. Fuji, I assume it's closer with the Aokigahara or the Su1c1d3 forest of Japan

  4. Nice to see you again. Thanks for keeping us in the picture. Rain can be tough but you have been through a lot by now. Scotland, need I say more?

  5. Duck buses in USA used ancient sketchy war surplus machines that killed many people so they are all but gone in America. KABA water bus is at another level though and very safe. I rode on one pre-covid and would not hesitate to ride on it again.

  6. Y’all are so cute! You frequently come up with the best, simple ideas. A breakfast date watching construction across the street? Sweet idea ☺️

  7. I left Japan at the end of March 2011 (during the non-stop aftershocks from 3-11-11) and you two moved there in April, so it's like still living in Japan vicariously through your videos since then – minus earthquakes and aftershocks.

  8. My solution to pizza that wont fit is to karate it on the side of the counter and split it in 2 or 4 pieces while frozen. It works well especially if you have thin crust with not too much toppings.

  9. The cords probably because Japan runs 2 different power systems in country. You probably have a 50hz and 60 hz plug depending on East or West Japan.

  10. Kyde, if oak tones are what you want in a wine. Anything red from the Bordeaux region of France or similar style around the world should please.

  11. 24:13 Wild theory, not based on any sort of knowledge: Is that some child-proofing? Like, your kids can't turn on the heater and burn down the house without the adapter that Mommy and Daddy keep hidden away?

  12. I beat you two to the summit of Fuji by about 25 years. Those were simpler times. I recorded my summit with a disposable film camera. 😄

  13. Even on rainy days there is still a lot of exploring that can be done! (I hope we don't have to wait another 3 weeks after that tease, Eric!–yours in the only channel we hold our breath for.)

  14. Bus, "isn't heated, because of Covid." Um, what?! Yeah, let's have people freezing in the winter, for their health. Good grief, how long is this nonsense going to continue?! And what's with the masks? I have skip those bits because I can't understand people mumbling through them. At this point, it's been 2 1/2 years. Everyone knows they don't work. They never worked. How long are people going to allow themselves to be dehumanized that way? We want to see faces, not rags!

  15. Aw, some poor child is heartbroken! I hope the missing toy is found. Young kids get weirdly attached to stuffed animals. I sympathize. I'm 50+ and I still have my childhood teddy bear!
