Visiting the Dalai Lama Temple In Dharamshala, India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ



In 1959, the HH Dalai Lama and many Tibetan followers fled the Chinese-controlled Tibet, crossing through the Himalayan Mountains to seek asylum in northern India. This is why many Tibetans, Tibetan Temples, and Tibetan-influenced foods are in the northern areas of Himachal Pradesh. The Buddhist spiritual leader, His Holiness Dalai Lama, lives in Dharamshala. From this city, he is able to govern and lead the Tibetan followers. In this video, we spend the afternoon exploring the Tsuglagkhang Dalai Lama Temple Complex. We get to the Temple just in time to hear the prayer, and we will take you along as we explore the rest of this complex.

We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates.     Be careful of local taxi driver there in Dharamshala,they will charge high when they see foreigner morover they might ganged up against u if u misbehave

    There's Tibetan in south called Bylakuppe. There is golden statue of buddha there its big and beautiful. If you travel around that area you'll suddenly feel you have gone outside india.

    Tibetan Buddhism is not a pure Buddhism its mixed with Tibetan culture.. Tibet only starts to follow buddism after 7th century
