How to reach Barasat to see Kali Puja? From where you come by road, you have to start visiting Kali Puja from Colony More, Dak-Bangla mor or Chapadali mor. And if you come by rail then you have to board the Hasnabad-Sealdah or Bangaon-Sealdah branch train and get off at Barasat station.
How to watch Kali Puja in Barasat? We will start seeing Kali Puja from Barasat station. First of all, I will visit the Pooja of Pioneer Athletic Club near Barasat Station. A fair is held here, the fair can be visited for a while.After that, you can see the puja of the KNC regiment on the opposite side of Lali cinema hall on foot. After that, from Lali Cinema Hall towards Colony Mor, there is a Puja of Nabapally Association. There is another famous puja in Colony More that is the Puja of Nabapally byam Samiti. Now, if you go towards Dakbanglo Mor along Krishnanagar road, there is the Puja of South Bhatra pally. And along the Krishnanagar Road there are Kali Pujas of Taruchaya and Jagarani Sangha. After crossing the railway line, near Barasat Sandhya College, there is the Puja of Sandhani Club. Now come towards Dakbangla mor or through the inner lane near Barasat Government College and see KNC Kali Pujo. After that, go to Jessore Road through the lane and towards the Chapadali mor, there is a lorry stand puja. After walking a little bit, there is the puja of the fish market committee.Then back again at Chapadali mor and take Taki Road to see Kali Puja of bidrohi Sangha. Apart from this there is the Puja of Shatadal Sangha. If you walk a little bit more, you will see the Pooja of Balak Brinda Sangha. This time, Aguan Sangh’s puja will move towards Kazipara. After watching Aguan Sangh’s puja, it can be said that watching the famous puja of Barasat is complete. Now take auto or toto to Barasat station and return to your home destination.
কালী পুজো দেখতে কিভাবে বারাসাতে পৌঁছবেন? যে স্থান থেকেই আসুন সড়কপথে আসলে কলোনি মোর, ডাক-বাংলা মোড় অথবা চাপাডালি মোড় থেকে ঠাকুর দেখা শুরু করতে হবে। আর যদি রেল পথে আসেন তাহলে হাসনাবাদ-শিয়ালদহ অথবা বনগাঁ-শিয়ালদহ শাখার ট্রেনে উঠে নামতে হবে বারাসাত স্টেশন।
বারাসাতে কালী পূজা কিভাবে দেখবেন? আমরা বারাসাত স্টেশন থেকেই ঠাকুর দেখা শুরু করবো। প্রথমেই বারাসাত স্টেশনের কাছে পায়োনিয়ার অ্যাথলেটিক ক্লাবের পূজো দেখে নেব। এখানে একটি মেলা হয় সেই মেলাটি কিছুক্ষণ ঘুরে নেওয়া যায়। এরপর পায়ে হেঁটে লালি সিনেমা হলে উল্টো দিকে দেখে নিতে পারেন কেএনসি রেজিমেন্টের পুজো। এরপর লালি সিনেমা হল থেকে কলোনি মোড়ের দিকে গেলে রয়েছে নবপল্লী অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের পূজা। কলোনি মোরে আরো একটি বিখ্যাত পুজো আছে সেটি হল নবপল্লী ব্যায়াম সমিতির পূজা। এবার কৃষ্ণনগর রোড ধরে ডাকবাংলো মোরের দিকে গেলে রয়েছে সাউথ ভাটরা পল্লীর পূজা। এবং কৃষ্ণনগর রোড ধরে পরপর রয়েছে তরুছায়া ও জাগরণী সংঘের কালী পূজা। এরপর রেললাইন ক্রস করে বারাসাত সান্ধ্য কলেজের কাছে রয়েছে সন্ধানী ক্লাবের পূজা। এবার চলে আসুন ডাকবাংলা মোড়ের দিকে অথবা ভেতরের গলিপথ দিয়ে বারাসাত গভমেন্ট কলেজের কাছে দেখে নিন কেএনসি কালী পূজো। এরপর গলি পথ দিয়ে যশোর রোডে উঠে চাপাডালি মোড়ের দিকে রয়েছে লরি স্ট্যান্ডের পুজো। এবার সামান্য একটু হেঁটে গেলেই রয়েছে মৎস্য বাজার কমিটির পুজো। এরপর আবার চাপাডালি মোড়ে ব্যাক করে এসে টাকি রোড ধরে দেখে নিন বিদ্রোহী সংঘের কালীপুজো। এর পাশাপাশি রয়েছে শতদল সংঘের পুজো। আরেকটু সামান্য হাঁটলে পড়বে বালক বৃন্দ সংঘের পুজা। এবার কাজীপাড়ার দিকে এগোলে পড়বে আগুয়ান সংঘের পুজো। আগুয়ান সংঘের পুজো দেখার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বলা যায় বারাসাতের বিখ্যাত পুজো গুলি দেখা সম্পূর্ণ হলো। এবার অটো অথবা টোটো ধরে চলে আসুন বারাসাত স্টেশন এবং নিজ নিজ বাড়ির গন্তব্যে ফিরে যান।
