Autumn leaves of Arashiyama, one of the best sightseeing spots in Kyoto.

Arashiyama, one of Kyoto’s leading tourist spots, is about 30 minutes from Kyoto Station. Although it is a popular spot throughout the four seasons, it is particularly crowded with tourists in autumn. Arashiyama is dotted with many famous autumn leaves spots such as Tenryu-ji, Hogon-in, Jojakko-ji, and Daikaku-ji. Many temples open at 8:00 to 9:00 am, so I recommend taking a walk around Togetsukyo Bridge early in the morning. The best time to see the autumn leaves in Arashiyama is from late November to early December. Enjoy the autumn leaves of Arashiyama Togetsukyo in autumn in Kyoto.

京都屈指の観光スポットの嵐山は京都駅から30分ほどです。四季を通じて人気のスポットですが、秋は格別に観光の方々で賑わいを見せます。嵐山には天龍寺、宝厳院、常寂光寺、大覚寺など紅葉の名所が多数点在します。寺院の開門時刻は９時が多いので、それまでの朝早くには渡月橋周辺の散策がお勧めです。嵐山の紅葉の見頃は例年ですと11月下旬から12月上旬ごろです。京都の秋、嵐山渡月橋の紅葉をご覧ください。
