If you don’t already know, Mark Wiens is a legendary food vlogger that has paved the way for so many others in this genre. It just so happens that Mark Wiens has his own restaurant here in Bangkok that does nothing but his favourite dish, pad ka prao. During our Thai street food tour trying some of the insane street food in Bangkok, we went to Mark Wiens restaurant Phed Mark to try the spiciest pad ka prao on the menu, and oh boy does he like his spicy at an insane level! Get ready for some sweaty faces!

Before heading to Mark Wiens restaurant to try his spiciest pad ka prao, we began our Thai street food tour trying a beef broth that’s been simmering for over four decades! This is definitely a food to eat in Bangkok, so flavourful, rich and meaty. With so much insane street food in Bangkok, we headed next to try hoi tod, a very unique oyster pancake/omelette.

The street food in Bangkok is like no other, and is so full of popular Thai foods. On our insane Thai street food tour in Bangkok, we came across some incredible foods, like the chewy and creamy dessert bua loy, some insanely delicious fried chicken known as gai tod, and a delicious Thai roti. This Thai roti was insane, full of egg, coconut and banana, this is a popular Thai street food that we couldn’t miss!

We hope you enjoy our Thai street food tour trying some insane street food in Bangkok. It was a true pleasure to try the spiciest pad ka prao at Mark Wiens restaurant, despite losing half our body weight in sweat. Stay tuned for more Thai street food adventures!
