Follow our journey of a British couple travelling around siquijor Philippines 🇵🇭 We had quite a disastrous day until a local saved our day. The locals told us it was too dangerous to go to Monkey beach but suggested an EVEN BETTER ONE. Our first impression of Talisay beach shocked us IT WAS PERFECT! and totally unexplored.

    Wow, great video with beautiful beaches, water and Coconut trees. You were really fortunate to go to that restaurant, meet those nice locals, that warned you about Monkey Beach. They always say when traveling to go to restaurants and places where the locals go, they know what is best.

    You guys are sooooo blessed! Thank God for the ates in Breeze cafe because talisay beach was a gem! As you said sometimes your plans just dont go as planned but end up even better!

    The authorities should correct that bad reputation otherwise it could possibly spread to other tourists areas and apprehend the perpetrators.

    Start cleaning brigades among the townfolk to increase tourism which would definitely benefit the people. Install clean restrooms and provide trash receptacles.
    Tourism Dept please take note! Get off your offices and Do something before prioritizing on advertisements.
