This weekend thousands of people turned out for the largest ever Tokyo Rainbow Pride Parade since its inception in 1994. Organizers estimate that more than 7,000 marched in the parade and over 100,000 participated in the multi-day festival across Tokyo that is dedicated to celebrating Japan’s LGBT community. The event featured dozens of booths, cultural exhibitions and even a performance from superstar Ayumi Hamasaki — all decked out in festive rainbow colors, of course. 🏳️‍🌈 (@miura.yoshiaki photos)
