Travel destinations around the world are starting to slowly open up in the coming months so don’t give up your dreams of traveling to SE Asia, Asia, or other parts of the world. Airlines and flights are few but they will eventually be offering more international flights. Life is a journey and we are going through some rough roads and turbulence.

  2. Thanks Rod. Great video. Hope this situation changes for the better real soon! We're all getting fed up with it.

  3. Nice tour in that bangka boat motor, Rod! I've ridden one like that several times to go in "Cuatro islas" in Leyte, my wife's place. Unforgettable moments that we want to experience again one day.

  4. Thanks for the encouragement. My dream is to be there with my fiance and get married. I will be there nothing's going to keep me from doing this. Things will get better from this virus situation. Thanks for a nice video

  5. Your living the life that's meant to be Sir Rod. I feel I want to retire now at 62 but I can wait until next year brother. Hopefully we'll see each other. I plan to retire permanently in Cebu City but June next year and excited. Take care brother. Thanks for the Video as always.

  7. Yeah stay positive because expats always have the option to leave this shithole country anytime they please.
I, among many has no reason to be optimistic knowing that the country has been
Sold off and parceled to foreign powers. Its leaves a putrid taste in my mouth.
p.s. please don't be offended, im not upset on most foreigners. It is the puppet government that i am very furious at.

  8. If Duterte mandates Fauci-Gates vaccine, which will probably be poison to many, I will just have to forget my dreams, especially if it comes with a nano tatoo, without which no man shall travel or shop or conduct business " save he who has the mark."

In your effort not to let go of your dreams, be sure you don’t let go of your redemption.

I know some will say, you don’t really believe all that apocalypse muthology. Well those skeptic friends should start taking note how prophetic Rev 13 is of our covid days…a mark without which no man csn buy or sell unless they bow down and submit. Really who would have predicted such an effective tyranny 2000 years ago?

  9. I have spent the last few days watching almost all your videos. Thanks so much for putting some amazing content to help other travelers/wannabe retirees like me. Yeah, keeping the dream alive and hoping that international travel will resume soon. To quote from the movie The Shawshank Redemption – "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

Thanks for staying positive through these difficult times. All the best to you.

  10. Thanks for sharing. Nice boat ride. It's been 115 in Phoenix. Although it's a little cooler but, it's humid now. Wish I could take a boat ride with in Philipines!

  11. Hi brian here from the UK, really enjoyed the video, I'm planning on visiting S.E.A as soon we are able but torn between Philippines , Thailand , and Vietnam on which to visit first. just subbed to your channel

  12. Hey Rod, I’ve gotten a lot of good info from you but I have some questions I would like to ask without boring your readers. I will be moving to Davao oriental next year and would like some advice. Would you mind giving me your email or messenger contact? My messenger is Gene Jordan.

  13. Missing those places. Am stuck inside my house…we have bad air quality from the fires (720), heat wave, increasing Covid cases…I don't know what's next…but that boat ride stirred some old memories, thanks…I was that kid 60 years ago🤔
