Cruise Industry News for Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Another amusement park ride is being installed on a cruise ship as MSC Seascape will feature a brand-new top-deck ride attraction called Robotron. Royal Caribbean Group’s (RCL) Silversea Cruises will drop its vaccination requirement and ditch testing for vaccinated guests in early September 2022. Carnival Corporation’s (CCL) Holland America Line has announced its 2022 Culinary Cruises that’ll feature many good eats from around the world.

    I think some of the newer features ships are boasting may appeal to the younger cruise set, but it seems to be each line is trying to outdo the other. I agree, use some of that money for other upgrades and crew salaries or even port improvements.

    MSC should make it mandatory that you cannot eat at the buffet before getting on this ride. The people below laying out in the sun would appreciate it.

    Something for everyone, I guess! We're past the point where we enjoy "thrill rides" and are looking for a fun and interesting, but not thrilling cruise experience. It'll be interesting to see, going forward, if the resort ship market will saturate and if the cruise companies put similar energy into enhancing the "lower key cruiser" experience.

    Happy September Doug, August is now gone now everyone is go back to school next week. That’s cool that amusement park ride is being installed on the cruise ship as MSC Seascape.     Who needs food at midnight if you want to go get pizza save your cookies and squares and what not but you get in the afternoon at lunchtime haven’t got the midnight if you want if you need to eat again my God how much weight do you need to gain carnivals the best food I’ve ever had.
