    Yeah ! It is reassuring to see you riding safely again, especially on these busy roads.
    Such a pleasant river side to explore, though the shallow parts made you wonder wether the river would be passable on foot in places.
    By the way, was that the sound of ducks we could hear as you were heading towards the restaurant ?

    Burger in Japan > burgers in US. Not sorry. The only burger shop I miss was a small shack near Araha beach in Okinawa. I don't think they're there anymore.

    I kinda have a little more appreciation for our larger roads here in America. My Sport Trac would barely fit on these tiny roads.

    Thank you for taking us along on this tour of Kyoto! I've really enjoyed the series, including the Lake Biwa section. When back in Kyoto, did you notice a considerable difference in cycling infrastructure versus what you were used to in Nagoya?
