If I was only seeing that from afar I'd assume that was a vending machine graveyard. I actually heard this from others who've been to Japan where they said Akihabara is losing its trendiness now and is looking pretty much like a busy old neighborhood now.
A lot of unusual stuff here. Conan O'Brien visited these vending machines and the way he reacted to the contents. Who would've thought of selling box of cookies wrapped in with a strange message.?
