お盆に迎えた祖先の霊を送る京都の夏の伝統行事「五山送り火」が8月16日夜、京都市内で営まれた。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で点火の数を縮小した昨年、一昨年を経て今年は3年ぶりに五山の全てに火をともし、完全な形で文字や形を浮かび上がらせた。
8月16日晚上，京都傳統的夏季活動“五山祖火”在京都市舉行，以送走迎接盂蘭盆節的祖先的精神。 去年和前年，由於新型冠狀病毒的傳播，燈的數量減少了，今年，三年來第一次，五座山都被點亮了，字母和形狀完美地出現了。
Kyoto’s traditional summer event “Gozan Okuribi” was held in the city of Kyoto on the night of August 16 to send off the spirits of ancestors who welcomed the Obon festival. Last year and the year before last when the number of lights was reduced due to the spread of the new coronavirus, this year, for the first time in three years, all five mountains were lit, and the letters and shapes emerged in perfect form.
