A bit thank you for Ritual for sponsoring this video on this trip to LA. And also a big thank you to Dan (from @DanVsWorld ) and Bill and Lisa (from @Bill & Lisa’s Food and Travel ) for taking the time to show me great places, as well as magical places, in LA!
Los Angeles is such an amazing city with so many friendly faces and great iconic eateries. Thank you to all the great suggestions on places to eat in LA and it’s surrounding areas. I did not not there were so many iconic delis offering great pastrami in the area, from Carter’s, to Brent’s, to Langer’s! I could not resist and had to stop of at one of these places. And how can resist the great Seafood feast California has to offer, and I decided to try the ultimate seafood feast with sweet succulent shrimp, and lobster!
First stop, Langer’s. Given the limited time in LA, I had to choose one and I hope I chose wisely; but to be honest, one can’t really go wrong with any of these places. Langer’s, from what I’ve heard, is an LA institution serving up great pastrami sandwiches, comforting Matzo Ball soup, crispy potato pancakes (latkes), and the all important egg-cream! …and they’ve been doing so for over 70 years!
Great food and more importantly, great servers and diners make this a meal an event in the most wonderful and fulling way. Did I over order? –Yes! … and did I finish? –you bet! The half sandwich / half soup with pastrami and Munster cheese on rye was definitely the way to go!
And that was just a meal to provide some sustenance for the drive to San Pedro to visit the iconic San Pedro fish market who has been serving up massive platters of seafood since 1956! Fresh lobsters, crabs, shrimp and any and all seafood you can imagine! From whole fish fried up to a sampling of halibut, swordfish, and seabass all cooked to perfection. The lines are long and in the end, I was not able to get a beer, but thanks to the kindness and generosity of the fellow customers, I got to share a ginormous bottle of beer. What can be better than a cold beer? — A cold beer offered by good friends!
The seafood did me in.. Managed to finish the lobster, the jumbo scallops, and the seabass, but that mountain of shrimp proved to be a challenge far too great! Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure and hope you get a chance to try these great places!

Another delicious/amazing video, Tim! Also enjoyed the Thai Marketplace video you did with Dan. I was watching Bill and Lisa's video before watching yours and thought it would be so nice if you collaborated with Bill and Lisa…and to my surprised…you actually met up with them! Hope to see your Disney video soon!
I found Tim's interpretation of San Pedro's fish market to be very thorough and informative. Pretty good job & he's not even a local!
Thanks, I feel I could handle this place much more efficiently.

Pastrami and matzo ball soup look amazing. Now, San Pedro is most go in my bucket list!! Thanks
Hi Tim, do you know the address or location of the Thai market in L.A Hollywood?
Hey there Tim. Next time you are in the Redondo area, you should give the Perfect Storm a try. The do an AYCE live main lobster cooked to order. Truly appreciate your kindness to all the wonderful hospitality workers you come across.
Lowkey really annoying that he’d come all the way to LA, go to Langers and at the last second decide not to get one of the most iconic sandwiches in all of Los Angeles.
I don't know why you haven't hit up all the taco or mexican cuisine pop ups. You're missing out Tim.
This was another awesome video. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers, Tim and God Bless! ✌️🇨🇦
Hi Tim. I hope you enjoyed your time here in Los Angeles. The seafood platter looks delicious. Take care 😊
How much Tim?
I see LA hasn't changed…I lived in Hollywood. Orchid Ave behind the Chinese theater.
Tim, you went to the right places in LA. I think you mistakenly read the post as Carter instead on Canters( LA classic). Try it next time.

Langer's is the best. The moment you open the door you get the smell of the pastrami and corn beef. I've been going to Canters deli on Fairfax for over 50 yrs. Bye Langer's is so much better
Everything looks so good. The people were so friendly and accommodating. Great video. Ty. P.S. congrats on the new subs. In no time you’ll hit a million.!!!
Nicely
San Pedro’s is such a big big ripoff. There are hundreds of places with better prices and better service.
