Busy Streets in Guangzhou: 4K Night Walk in China's 3rd Biggest City

Guangzhou is hot, humid and full of people. If you’ve ever walked the streets of Guangzhou, the biggest city of Southern China, you’ve probably experienced your fair share of “human traffic jams” like the one in this Guangzhou walk, especially during rush hours.

With a population of 18 million, busy streets like these are to be found all over the city. Guangzhou is known for its “Urban Villages”, clusters of the old city where affordable housing is slowly surrounded by a new, growing modern city. In this Guangzhou city walk we explore a few streets of one of these “urban villages”, where the old Guangzhou meets the modern Guangzhou in a cacophony of sounds and sights.
