Mahabaleshwar & Panchgani are popular tourist destinations in Maharashtra and they are also called as Paradise of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar hill station is located in the Western Ghats also known as Sahyadri, in the Satara district of Maharashtra.

We decided to drive to Mahabaleshwar from Pune. We left Pune by 8 AM in the morning and reached Mahabaleshwar by 11 AM. As we were hungry, we went straight to Mapro Garden – A famous eatery located in Panchgani for brunch. Their Strawberry & Cream dessert is one of the must-try food items in Mahabaleshwar.

Mahabaleshwar is blessed with mountains, valleys and waterfalls. Lingmala Waterfall is one of the breath-taking natural beauties of Mahabaleshwar. One can visit this place the entire year but it is most enjoyable during monsoons and winters.

We could not miss the Mahabaleshwar Temple which is a highly revered Shiva Temple, located in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Its religious significance is more than that of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

Mahabaleshwar’s Kate point was the next place in the itinerary. Kate Point is a very populated point of Mahabaleshwar as some of the views from heights are exceptional. Parking can be an issue if you decide to watch the sunset here. Please plan accordingly.

We then headed to Mahabaleshwar market to have some local snacks. We tried Corn Pakodas, 5 Flavoured Panipuris, Potato Twisters, Momos and ice cream. However, We have not included the Mahabaleshwar market in this video.

On our way back, we stopped at Waikar’s Go-Karting spot. Well, who doesn’t like Go-karting! It was fun. Check the video to know more about timings and prices.

We left for Pune at 10 PM in the evening and reached home by 1 am in the night.
