Eating at Saranrom Thai, Michelin Thai restaurant hidden in the Queens, NYC

Saranrom Thai is a Thai Michelin Bib Gourmet restaurant located in Elmhurst, Queens, NYC, serving some of the best Thai food in town.

From Michelin Guide:
The dizzyingly long menu features curries, fried rice, salads, and stir-fries. But look closely and you’ll find real gems, like yum pla duk, or a delicate weave of crispy catfish topped with tangy mango salad. Miang kha-na is an essential starter, mixing lime rinds, pork, and peanuts to brilliant effect. Bright, fiery, sharp, and spicy — this is Thai food in its most captivating form.

The menus have good varieties and the dishes are appetizing. I ordered the signature dishes on the menu and they surely didn’t disappoint!

Dishes I had:
Yum Pla Fuk Du
Crispy fried shredded catfish with mango salad. The crumbly texturing is very enjoyable.
Miang-Kha Na
Dried pork with lime, chili, ginger, and grounded peanuts wrapped in broccoli leaves
Kang Kua Sator
Pork and coconut curry with vermicelli noodle and Sator beans. This is a very interesting dish and I like dishes like this that open up my horizon to different flavors.

Durian sticky rice
