Jessica and I studied abroad in Nagoya Japan together 7 years ago, and now we work together. In today’s video, we talk about our study abroad Japan experience, including both the positive and negative aspects. This video is a bit long, so here is a basic topic outline with timestamps.

Intro Cruise 1:20
Intro Jess 1:55
Why Japan? 2:15
Why study abroad in Japan / How did we choose our school 5:20
Japanese level before study abroad 7:00
Did our Japanese ability improve? 8:40
Good and bad points of study abroad / living in Japan 11:10

There are still a lot of things we wanted to go over, but this video was already getting pretty long, so leave your questions in the comments and we can make a part II video.

  1. Thanks to Hot Jess for helping me make this video! There's still a lot of things we wanted to talk about with this topic, but this video is already SUPER long. So leave your questions in the comments and we can use those to make a Part II if there's enough interest in this topic.

  2. Okay I get it that Japan is costly .. But exactly how much? I am actually planning to study in Japan right after my High School … So It would be great If you make a video on specifying all the expenses in Japan for a Bachelor student 🙏

  3. The walls are too thin? Do you live in a LeoPalace?

Japan has a high import tax on dairy products to protect the domestic lacto-industry, thus foreign cheese is hard to get.

  4. Thanks for the video. Gathered knowledge 🙂 I also have a problem with finance, that is one of my two problems… studying abroad. Huge amount of money.

  5. oh god, I thought this was going to be you guys studying
    abroad in Japan's yt channel

  6. I’m going back and watching the older videos I never saw. I didn’t realise your frenemy Hot Jess was a Brit / Italian from the earlier videos. I thought she was also American. She has a weird / cool accent where she switches back and forth. Should bring her back for a new video.

  7. Don't lie, Hot Jess never saw you because you were always out biking across some mountain on your mamachari to buy anime waifus from a nearby town

  8. Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships😘🤗😁
