24 hours in Asakusa, Tokyo 2022 – Culture/Street food – Travel Tips and Hacks
In today’s video we’re spending 24 hours in Tokyo (Asakusa). You’ll experience many levels of Japanese culture in 2022- beautiful yukatas, kimonos, delicious Japanese cuisine, and some of the most famous sites sites in Tokyo.
Join me on a day trip into Asakusa. Asakusa is arguably the cultural center of Tokyo. It is one of the most popular Tokyo tourist attractions. Come with me as we travel from the outskirts of Tokyo into the heart of one of the biggest cities in the world. We’ll start by taking a local and showing you how to get on and off with your Pasmo card. You’ll see how to use the train in Tokyo. We then purchase a one-day train pass at the train station (this is a great option because you can save a lot of money). We change trains a couple of times and show a few hacks to make your train experience a little easier. After getting off the train, we’ll do LOTS of walking around Asakusa – the cultural epicenter of Tokyo.
There are so many things to do in Asakusa. With all the restaurants, you’ll have no problem with street food hunting. We’ll visit the largest Japanese traditional temple in Tokyo – Sensoji Temple. Along the streets you’ll see lots of stores and so many cute Japanese girls.
As always, I try to provide information and tips you can use when visiting Japan. As more videos are uploaded, I’ll elaborate more on these tips so when you visit, you’ll be able to navigate and do Japan like a pro.
Remember, if you ever have questions, please post them in the comments.
I do my best to answer every question.
