Monterey Bay Aquarium – Into the Deep Exhibit (4K)

Drove down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium:

For the member preview of the new “Into the Deep” exhibit opening April 9, 2022:

On display are many creatures from thousands of feet/hundreds of meters under the water. Many of these have never been displayed before. Some have only been seen alive by a handful of researchers.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) pioneered the techniques required to bring these creatures safely to the surface to be seen by all.

You even get to pet a Giant Deep-Sea Isopod from the bottom of the ocean!
