Kawagoe in Saitama Prefecture is well known as a great city for sightseeing. But hidden away in the rural countryside is the charming Saimyoji Temple. The temple boasts that it has been around for nearly 800 years! The quaint gardens are lovely and well-tended. There are more than a few places here to stop and take a nice, relaxing breather. Oh, and you can even stay the night!
