Just what goes on in one of the busiest train stations in the world, anyway? 🚉🚅🚄
Tokyo Station is huge, to put it plainly and it is situated in Japan’s premiere business district—Marunouchi. There are train platforms for a bunch of different lines, of course. But there’s even a full underground city with shopping, restaurants, and more along many different streets!
If architecture’s more your thing, the original station building—newly restored in 2012—with its high-domed ceilings and zodiac flourishes should feed your mind nicely.
The station’s huge complex of underground tunnels is also a great way to travel around the city on a rainy day.
Whatever your needs, you can’t go wrong exploring everything Tokyo Station has to offer!
