I have to be honest, Italy is mostly a mess. I’m driving hundreds of miles from bottom to top and so far it has be very run down. It feels un-loved. The roads are in such a bad state that it is stressful to drive through. You can not let you concentration drop for a moment or you’ll end up damaging your vehicle in a pothole or getting hit by someone driving poorly. Sorry to rant but it has to be said, Italy so far has been a disappointment!.
