Castles and fairy floss skies, a winning combination if you ask us! 😍
Originally built between 1394 and 1427, Kiyosu Castle is a small but historically significant castle in Aichi Prefecture. Local samurai warlord and hero Oda Nobunaga captured it in 1555 and used it as his base for many years. While it was torn down in 1610 and its parts used to construct Nagoya Castle, it was rebuilt in a new location across the river in 1989. Today, this powerful beauty can be spotted from afar as it towers above the residential area of Kiyosu City.
