Street snaps we shot outside of Japanese fashion brand Pays Des Fées (@paysdesfees_nakano_broadway) show on Saturday. The fashion show took place in an old industrial Japanese factory located an hour outside of Tokyo.
Pays Des Fées brand concept is “Wearing the world of fantasy daily. Strange and cute at the core.” With a shop in the famous otaku enclave Nakano Broadway for over a decade, we would classify them as an underground/subculture brand who doesn’t cater to trends or mainstream tastes.
The new collection, titled “Electricity and Witchcraft”, featured collaborations with a number of artists, designers, and idols. If you’d like to see the actual collection, check the brand’s Instagram @paysdesfees_nakano_broadway feed. We shot all of these snaps outside of the show, including two of the models (#1 & #6) and the brand’s designer (#8). The video at the end shows the models leaving after the show is over. Thanks to everyone we shot and to the designer!
