16-year-old Japanese student Nana (@sokorahennogakintyo) on the street in Harajuku.
.
Nana is a Japanese high school student who we’ve been seeing around the streets of Tokyo’s Harajuku neighborhood quite a bit recently. She is part of a group of kawaii-loving Harajuku kids who hold monthly “Neo Decora” (#neoデコラ会) meetups where they walk around Harajuku together, eat sweets, take pictures, and have fun in kawaii clothing.
Nana’s unique Harajuku looks are often very very pink, mixing elements of anime/manga, traditional Japanese kawaii culture, decora, and even traces of gyaru. Like many people her age, she lists low-price fashion app Shein as one of her favorite places to find new clothing and accessories.
