Do 89% of Japanese people really support banning foreigners during the Japan travel ban? A closer look + how we must use our anger and frustration for good during the Japan travel ban.

Share your story, appeal to embassies and those in power, and let’s get the borders open for international students, workers, and couples.

– Petition for the immediate withdrawal of the suspension of issued visas (December 2, 2021-) that has created family separation by Takashi Arai (@TakashiArai_78):

Day 436 of waiting to enter Japan and start my job as a long-term worker. Silence isn’t going to change our situation- this entry ban has become entirely political: families are separated, students are forced to pay full tuition while attending online classes between 0am and 8am, and workers are without a stable income and suffering economically.

We need to keep fighting for our situation- but please don’t take your anger and frustration out on ordinary Japanese people. Let’s not allow this terrible political situation to turn us into bitter and resentful people.
