Now this is putting a whole new meaning into ‘high tea’. 🍵 Listed in Time Magazine’s ‘Top 10 precarious buildings’, the Floating Tea House designed by Terunobu Fujimori, sits atop two chestnut trees in his hometown of Chino, Nagano Prefecture. Named ‘Takasugi-an’, translating to ‘a tea house (built) too high’ this is certainly one for all the architecture lovers.

Access to the teahouse is usually limited to tour participants (currently suspended due to the pandemic).
