Now this is a view we could get used to! 😍 This wooden masterpiece is Kintaikyo Bridge, found in the city of Iwakuni in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Originally constructed back in 1673, the bridge was rebuilt in 1953 and today, is considered one of the three great bridges in Japan, a Site of Scenic Beauty and even earned two stars in the 2013 Michelin Green Guide to Japan. With its five striking arches resting on massive stone pillars, it’s not hard to guess why this is a must-see when visiting Iwakuni. 🌉
