Clinging (quite literally!) to the side of Mt Funakata in Chiba Prefecture hangs the Shingon Buddhist temple of Daifukuji (Gake Kannon). The temple commands panoramic views of the bayside city of Tateyama with a picture-perfect coastline, rugged cliffs and untouched coral reefs begging to be explored. ✨
